Spirituality (awakening) is not about taking all our bags of suffering to God, in the hopes that God may help, save or make us whole. No, Satori, awakening is when we are willing to drop our baggage and go unqualified to God. Then we Realize our already present wholeness and forget our claim on our heavy baggage. Spirituality is not therapy, it is the transcendence of the need for therapy through connecting to the pristine Kosmic teleology of our Being. Spirituality is the "obliteration" of suffering through surrender to a higher order of Being.

Spirituality is spiritual because the content of our bags is irrelevant and we can only ascend to Soul-merger if we are willing to unconditionally drop our bags, irrespective of their content. This is unconditional love. Being willing to sacrifice our bags and hence our attachments and reactivity. Spirituality is the willingness to die to this burdened self, to put on our angel wings and fly.

There are no questions and no answers, Satori simply Is when we give up our bags to fly as Spirit. Souls don´t need healing, nor do they hurt, for soul is already whole and impersonal. The Kosmic infallible intelligence (teleology) of soul will however force us one way or another to wake up to the mechanism of our suffering. And then we realize we are carrying unnecessary bags and so we can choose to wake up and let them go.

Nobody but us can help us go to God and the only way we can do it is to voluntarily give up our baggage. Psychotherapy might help us to compartmentalize our baggage, rationalize it, digest it or put it away in a dusty attic, but only on awakening to the pointless and uselessness of it will we let it go. Soul doesn't struggle with the baggage, it is impervious to it, transcendent of it. Soul is supratemporal, our experience/conditioning is temporal.

Jung´s archetypes are prepersonal universal dynamic forms inherited by all but initially containing no personal experience...they are the structural components of the psyche. As we wind our way through time we pick up experience or "baggage"...no amount of temporal conciliatory investigation and salve will resolve the problem of our baggage, it just tidies it or rationalizes it in the context of a mean and savage world.

If we are still unwilling to simply give up our baggage we can have fun doing all kinds of fixing, salve making, and attempting to make whole in the temporal world. At least then we don't feel that our baggage has the better of us, that there is hope. BUT we can just eliminate the whole imprinting of experience problem by "willingly volunteering" to just give up our baggage and go into the Kingdom of Heaven where we are already whole, complete and perfect. Then on returning to the temporal world we become non affected and disinterested in our baggage, it no longer sticks to us like karmic goo, to flavor all our future experience. This is the Parsifal heart, the innocence of being burnt clean in the Ultimate. The humanizing, spiritualizing process of transubstantiation of matter itself.

To move beyond the chains of our human past we can not revolt from or hate civilization, else we remain a prisoner through our rebellion. To transcend our past we must Grok it. To understand the horrendous loss/waste/sacrifice of life that constitutes the river of humanity...and how incredibly lucky we are to be born in this day and age, when so much of our "filters" to awareness are being seen through. So many of our prejudices, premeditations, predictions are dissolving in the light of enlightened awareness. Got to love this great unwinding from the contraction of ignorance...it is so beautiful and we are doing it, or rather it is being done unto us.

We honor our ancestors by giving up the baggage not by continuing to unconsciously carry it. Baggage is the conditioning of the mortal/temporal self that prevents us from unequivocal enlightenment, Samadhi. That is why the mystics say one has to give up everything...family, country etc...to overcome the attachments which accumulate more baggage. Renounce everything an d gain the Self and the entire Universe...and immortal life while living. That is when we give up our hell we are automatically in heaven.

Heaven is that which is beyond form, space and time. It is the Void/Emptiness via which all of creation ensues. The Kingdom of Heaven was just the traditional way of trying to convey this principle to the people, but this term is rather misleading. One starts to think in terms of stars, constellations, Gods and Goddesses...which are our mythic projections of the basic structure of the collective psyche. Emptiness therefore is a much better way of describing, what is essentially indescribable.

Emptiness is "God". I would say that Emptiness includes both Being and NonBeing. I say this because unless there is Being (Matter), there can be no such thing as NonBeing. So the two are indivisible. Emptiness is a infinite point where all Being and NonBeing in Time and Space are One...One Timeless-Eternal-Infinite-All Pervasive Unknowable Mystery

The rational mind is inadequate to divine Reality or the Mystery. Truth is perceived via the total spectrum of sentience…of feeling, sensation, intuition and intellect, meditation and contemplation. Actually with physics now the rational mind cannot resolve our experience, even our mathematics is inadequate to describe reality, we know we are only using symbols of approximation. I would say only uncommon sense gives us the wisdom to heal, common or normal sense got us into the mess. Now if we are using spirituality like psychotherapy in an attempt to "fix" and "save" and "heal" I wonder if this is the wrong approach altogether. Rather than our mortal selves trying to "Make Whole" or "Make Love" should we not "turn" to that transcendent source of all Being and Non Being in order to proceed beyond our self defining limits?

Post-Remedial Spirituality All is orchestrated from the soul as it is, we are being born from our soul and are trying to take our mortal baggage with us to heaven(emptiness). With that method all we get is more and more baggage, and as we awaken the baggage gets heavier as we become more conscious of its weight. Endless mental therapy of trying to resolve the insanity of the human world and thousands of years of rape, killing and plunder won´t get us anywhere, but better adjusted to the insanity. We no longer need our suffering to hold us back if we are already living our muse and on our souls more direct path...ie: inner directed instead of outer directed.

Becoming a rawfoodist is the fundamental physical way to drop all unnecessary baggage/blocks from body/mind/culture. By stopping the myriad ways that our culture uses to deaden our consciousness/feeling and allowing ourselves to wake up and come alive as the nature that we are. This is truly facing the reality of our being and our environment. Going raw was my way of emerging fro m the intense pain of reactivity to my childhood and the pain caused by the level of awareness of society. I literally had to reconstruct my body to carry more light so I could emerge from the collective shadowland and claim the life of my Muse.

Mind, Body, Soul, Spirit are all one in that they cannot be separated. They occur in coherent superposition. Positive input fed into any level, feeds into all levels. What Ken Wilber is essentially reminding us with the pre/trans fallacy, is that unless one takes the heightened awareness levels of nondual/Emptiness realization into one´s experience then our diet becomes mere fuel or worse, our lovemaking becomes mere flesh-sex or worse, our drug trips become a way to zone out and avoid life etc…. That is everything loses its ultimate meaning and purpose and gravitates toward the individual as an isolated unit separate from the Universe. No higher kosmic community order can form organically and must be imposed by the rule of dead law.

Community or lives lived from exterior law do not have a metaphysical soul-interior, they are just an organized heap so to speak, and this is a low energy, dissipative state. When we have established a connection to the Cosmos or Emptiness prior to or transcendent of conditioning then we can emerge from our reactive repression of our body-emotions and our avoidance of our Soul. Religions etc…have institutionalized "The Word" in the name of power and so have tended to destroy "The Mystery" and the "Living Christ," to create the diseases of repression. The diseases of repression are the diseases of degeneration, produced from the healthy urges of nature turned in on themselves in collective guilt, shame and self hatred. All this self denial inflames Narcissus and works against evolution via de-individualization. Narcissus is simply Spirit that is cut off from the body and the body that is cut off from Spirit, by dead external law that is counter to the living. Individualization begins from the core connection between self-Self-All.

"My hope is that ecopsychology will opt for seeing the split between nature and human nature as needing a healing process rather than a therapy as I have described it, recognizing that we are in a sense prefigured by nature. Our relationship with nature is more one of "being" than "having." We "are" nature, we do not "have" nature. As Alan Watts once expressed it. "You didn´t come into this world. You came out of it, like a wave from the ocean. You are not a stranger here." Ecopsychology, Roszak, Gomes, Kanner.

Again, our baggage is our conditioning. "How can you call yourself human if every one of your thoughts, feelings and actions is mechanical arising not from yourself but from your conditioning." Anthony De Mello, Awakening. By surrendering to Soul all we lose is our baggage but we gain Enlightenment. Awakening, crisis, catastrophe, allow us to penetrate the veil of our conditioning. To just drop the story of the gremlins, ghosts, witches and aliens that we have collected. Then the higher order of limitless light is able to resurrect our mortal body and mind. Its our choice, we merely have to sacrifice our hells and give up our "reasons" for being addicted and self destructive. We are an automaton if we are living in our conditioning and our baggage. We are not spiritually free to choose and we are vulnerable to the collective shadow. That is we are still in the state of collecting more and more baggage. And if we are really into martyrdom we will take on other people´s baggage as well.

We arise from the earth, we are not alien to it, we are the earth come alive. The Universe supports our authentic presence, for this resolves our place, purpose and meaning in the whole. There is but one energy and its infinite spectrum, if we repress what we conceptualize as lower, then we cannot reconcile and unite it with what we conceptualize as higher. The higher is only a danger to itself when it represses the lower. Stuck in the middle ground of Narcissus we get to live neither in our bodies, nor in our soul but are constrained in the realm of mental constructs. Spirits pure intent therefore is prevented from "inaction" in matter. The relationship between earth-body-mind-soul stagnates and collapses. Relationship with Other is confounded for we stigmatize or rationalize the dictates of Eros to fit in with our petty order, instead of following the divine order. And the divine order is the ultimate satisfaction.

The Great Within-The Kingdom of Heaven-Emptiness- or Void is that which informs form. This is the ultimate dictator….the unconditional love that literally brings us into manifestation and informs our days.

We exist in a culture that runs on "power over" instead of listening to the truth that arises autopoietically from the Great Within. There is no original sin, separation, alienation, no fall, descent or expulsion from Eden. But we have been made to "think" so by having our spirit curtailed in submission to this or that outer authority. We are the earth come alive, a child of the Universe. All we need do to transcend samsara is to unite once more with the source of our Being. Then we will repent our ways and no more rape Mother Earth, defile our bodies, suppress our children or waste our lives. We will no longer have to spend our time trying to save and fix what can only be redeemed through the grace of Emptiness. First we must surrender to the source of our Being and then we can take that awakening down into all our experience. Not to return to unconscious matter, but to infuse matter with more consciousness. For through Spirit we revive our senses, reanimate our bodies, clear our minds, regenerate the earth, honor true community and rejoice in our lives, free of the pain of ignore-ance. But we are only able to participate in true community when we have individuated our umbilical connection to Emptiness. Then we can share not what we "do" but who we "are." A unique jewel of Spirit.
