Each of these websites has something interesting to offer the student
of dreams and dreaming. Most of these sites will connect you to
other dream-related webpages that we haven't included here.

This is a work in progress.
Please let us know of any good sites you find.
this update 9.6.99 ~

       New Listings:
    • Robert Moss: Way of the Dreamer  ~ Robert Moss is the author of several fascinating books on dreams and dreaming, including Conscious Dreaming and Dreamgates. His book Dreaming True will be released in the spring.
    • The Dream Tree  ~ An interesting general purpose dreaming site, including forums. A little hard to find your way around, but worth the effort.
    • Dream Journalist  ~ A great site, includes a fascinating paper, "Analysis and Arabesque: Observing 600 Dreams Using a Computer Database ".

Association for the Study of Dreams  ~ "The Association for the Study of Dreams is a non-profit, international, multidisciplinary organization dedicated to the pure and applied investigation of dreams and dreaming. Our purposes are to promote an awareness and appreciation of dreams in both professional and public arenas; to encourage research into the nature, function, and significance of dreaming; to advance the application of the study of dreams; and to provide a forum for the eclectic and interdisciplinary exchange of ideas and information."

Dream Gate  ~ a very rich site with many interesting sub-sites

The Quantitative Study of Dreams  ~  "Our approach is that of quantitative content analysis. It consists of: 1. Formulating categories with precise boundaries for all the elements appearing frequently in dreams. 2. Determining frequencies for those categories in dreams from an individual or a group. 3. Turning the frequencies into percentages and rates. 4. Comparing the findings with our norms to determine what is unique about the dreams of the person or group being studied."

Dream and Dreaming Links  ~ a massive number of dream links

Lifetreks Dream Interpretation Resources  ~ an interesting site, operated by Gillian Holloway, who does professional dream interpreting. Site Contents:  Articles;  Dream Symbols;  FAQ's;  Incubation;  Lucid Dreams;  Nightmares;  Recurring;  Sexual Dreams

J.P. McDonough's Page of Dreams  ~ lots and lots of links to other dream sites

Healing Dreams  ~ a very good site -- "Healing Dreams takes a special interest in the use of dreaming for healing processes. Being struck down by a serious disease myself I know that there are not always easy answers or solutions. It would be so great when an angel would appear in your dreams handing you the cure for your disease. I haven't had this luck. But in my experience dreams can help to accept and face your adversities as well as help you to adjust to your new life."

Working and Playing with Dreams  ~ another very good site -- "Every dream has many layers of meaning. Every object, person, and situation in a dream may have many meanings. So take your time in trying to understand it. Think of your dream as something to EXPLORE. You have to look at it from different angles, walk around in it for awhile, work with it - and then its many meanings will begin to reveal themselves."

The Lucidity Institute ~ Stephen LaBerge's organization, devoted to understanding lucid dreaming and selling stuff -- "Lucid Dreaming means dreaming while knowing that you are dreaming. This consciousness allows you to guide your dreams. Incidentally, how do you know that you aren't dreaming right now? To find out, and for an introduction to the topic, see our Lucid Dreaming FAQ."

Tiger's Nest Dream Interpretation Board  ~ a forum for all kinds of dreams -- "The purpose of the dreamboard is to promote a free exchange of ideas about the possible meaning of dreams and offering interpretative ideas to other people's dreams."
