~ this update 11.21.01 ~
This update was to make sure all the links worked.
We have a number of new links which will be added at the next update.

  • Adidam Home Page  ~ This is where the action starts -- the Official Adi Da Website. Scholars of the future, fire up your hard drives.
  • Adidam Emporium  ~ "Purveyors of Fine Goods for Living the Way of the Heart." {Now you see it, now you don't. Rumors are this site was taken down after being criticized by the guru.}
  • Adidam New York  ~ Official website of the New York office of Adidam.
  • DAbase  ~ The best devotee site I've found...includes complete bibliography of Daism, massive "Great Tradition" bibliography (worth the price of admission), many photos and other reference materials. Four stars!
  • New Religious Movements: Adidam  ~ Well-rounded history and assessment of Adidam by The Religious Movements website of the Dept of Sociology of the University of Virginia.
  • The Strange Case of Franklin Jones  ~ Scott Lowe's description of his experiences as a devotee of Franklin Jones in the 1970's.
  • The Beezone  ~ Off-beat disciple site "Devoted to the advocatic understanding of the spiritual teaching of Ruchira Avatar Adi Da Samraj." Advocatic indeed.
  • Adidam Peace Centre  ~ Adi Da's call for a new world order, complete with trademarked precept: Cooperation + Tolerance = Peace®
  • Adidam: Fear No More Zoo  ~ "Fear-No-More Zoo, in California, Hawaii, Fiji, and Holland is home to a growing variety of animals: chameleons, frogs, finches, parrots, Aldabra tortoises, pigs, emus, llamas, Bactrian camel, Japanese koi, iguanas, rabbits, guinea pigs, and others." Nuff said.
  • Free Standing Man  ~ Architect's site with plans and CGI images of "Adi Da Samraj's Sacred Home at Love-Ananda Mahal" in Kauai, Hawaii. Site loads very slowly.
  • Saniel Bonder's website  ~ Saniel, numero uno Da-spokesperson for 18 years, now out on his own and teaching White Hot Yoga.
  • The Neural Surfer  ~ Prof. David C. Lane's great website, now under reconstruction. Lane is co-author (with Scott Lowe) of the excellent book :
  • Da: The Strange Case of Franklin Jones
  • The Knee of Daism  ~ Daism deconstructed by the scholars and pedants of the Ken Wilber Forum. Just so.
  • Lightmind Daism Forum  ~ The only open forum on the Web devoted exclusively to Daism. Big whoa.
  • Adidam: The Laughing Man Library  ~ This site devoted to the spiritual traditions is interesting and potentially useful, as long as you can get past their pronunciamento, "Adidam is the Perfect Completing of the One Great Tradition of Mankind."
  • The Names of Avatar Adi Da Samraj  ~ Franklin Jones has changed his named so many times he needs an entire website just to list them!
  • "The Courage to Stand Alone"  ~ Diary of ex-Daist and follower of U.G. Krishnamurti, Ellen Chrystal.
  • Thirty Days with U.G. Krishnamurti  ~ An interesting relation of this nihilistic teacher. Contains one short reference to Da Free John, as follows: "Ellen Chrystal sits inches away from me, reliving her memories spent in the "Divine Presence" of Da Free John, the self-announced American Avatar. Bizarre tales of food and sex orgies climax with a dull account of her sleeping with her Bhagwan. The charismatic Avatar used to condescend to have Tantric Sex only with a handful of female devotees whom he found highly evolved. This act, said the Avatar, forged an eternal bond between him and the devotee, she said. Scenes from her life serve as a potent magnifying lens through which we get an extreme and close view of the debauchery that goes on in the name of "divine love" in the holy business."
